I can’t re-test my items before the due date, Is there a time allowance past the due date for testing and tagging?

Yes.
As per AS/NZS 3760:2010 – 2.1. indicates a tolerance of two weeks past the item’s re-test due date.
PLEASE NOTE: This tolerance doesn’t apply to construction sites.
